My Simple Budget is a UK budgeting and pay calculator provided by My Simple Apps. This policy explains what data the web app and mobile app collect and how it is used.
What we collect
The calculator itself runs locally in your browser or on your device. The salary, bills, savings and other figures you enter are stored on your device (in browser localStorage on the web and in the app's WebView storage on Android) and are not sent to us.
If you choose to create an account on the web version to save your budget across devices, we store your email address and the budget state you save, using our backend provider so you can sign in and restore it later. You can delete your saved budget at any time from within the app, or by emailing us.
The Android app is offline-only and does not include sign-in or cloud sync.
Cookies and tracking
The web app does not set marketing or advertising cookies. Hosting providers may set minimal cookies required to serve the site. The Android app does not use tracking SDKs.
Payments
Paid features on the web version are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details — Stripe handles payment processing. The Android app is currently free and does not process payments.
